We had an absolutely fabulous time staying at A Bearable Cabin. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. We appreciated being just far off the road to appreciate nature and campfires but still was a quick drive or walk to the shops and restaurants of Helen. We would love to stay again.

My family has rented this cabin multiple times, and we always have such an amazing time! The water coming down the falls is right outside most of the windows. If you can't go outside, you can still get the experience of seeing (and hearing) that beautiful, flowing water from most of the house. Balconies are provided from the bedrooms, so you can access the outside without disturbing the rest of the house.
While there, we have seen a flock of about 40 wild turkeys, a herd of about 12 deer. We've seen llizards, salamanders and other water-based wildlife, and the most hilarious juvenile squirrel tussle we've ever witnessed! It's just the most magical place. We feel lucky that we get to share the experience of this house.
It's also conveniently located, only a few miles from restaurants and stores, but back in the woods so that you have your privacy as well.
The staff is wonderful and communicate quickly to accommodate the slightest need! Highly recommend that you check out Falling Waters Cabin!
This cabin was the perfect romantic weekend getaway in the woods. The stars of the show were the hot tub and fireplace which were extremely nice to come home to after a winter's day of hiking and exploring in the area. The bed and furniture were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped to handle our making breakfast every morning and reheating a couple of pre-made meals in the evening. The cabin is very private and the large screened-in porch made it so very nice to welcome each morning with a cup of coffee and enjoy our evenings in the hot tub. The cabin was also nicely decorated for Christmas...a small touch which was very much appreciated and added so much to our experience. I highly recommend this cabin if you're looking for a romantic getaway for two.
My husband and I stayed at the cabin from Jan 1st-4th and it was absolutely adorable. Cute little cabin right near all the shops. The cabin felt so cozy and it was situated in the perfect spot. We felt like we were in the woods while at the cabin but still only a walk away from all the fun. Highly recommend staying here!
Nice townhouse right in the center of downtown Helen. Free parking included which is good as the town gets rather crowded during the weekends and parking is hard to find. It was me, my 17 year old grandson, and my son's girlfriend and the place was clean and big enough for us. We were able to park the car and walk to all the restaurants and shops.
